Hi there, I'm Madie, and I'm here to help.

I come from a long line of storytellers, so let me tell you a story. I grew up in a pretty small town, not the smallest, but not the big city. It was not perfect, far from it,  but it was home. I loved my family and my friends, but I knew that I would have to leave eventually to find my place in this world, and thankfully, they gave me the courage to follow my heart all the way to the mountain out west.

At 18, I decided to move 1,600 miles west to find out what was waiting for me in the mountains. I began as a business major because I could learn to run a non-profit that supported the causes that live deep in my heart. After a few months, I realized that my skills and my ambitions did not match those of the other students around me. So, skipping my slight overcorrection to art history, I found my place studying journalism and media communication, where I learned the skills and techniques of strategic communications to help anyone and any cause I wanted.

I worked hard to graduate in four years and build my skills so that I could do what I always wanted to and help others. Over my time at CSU, I worked and volunteered with multiple non-profits, including Molly Cain's foundations #SmileYouWokeUp, the Museum of Art Fort Collins, and Until They're Home, a northern Colorado foster-based animal rescue.

Every day, I work to lift people's spirits and to bring attention to the problems that need it. My goal is to tell the most honest and true stories I can while helping the people around me shine in the way only they and their stories can do.
